I am an experienced leader, coach, and facilitator. I have over 20 years of experience building and leading democratic and participatory organizations. My areas of expertise include succession planning, organizational culture, strategic planning, and technology infrastructure.
I have worked primarily in technology-oriented organizations. I served as Executive Director at the Institute for Global Communications, one of the first unionized nonprofits in the US. More recently I was one of three co-Managing Directors at Alternative Technologies Cooperative. In 2022 I helped my co-workers buy Alternative from our founder. As part of the transition team, I co-wrote many founding documents and led external communications. I also helped to mentor the founding board of directors.
